Introductory Forum [Artifact]

 

         At the beginning of this course, we were asked to do a few things, and one involving writing an introductory forum on a discussion forum on a platform known as moodle. We each were asked about skills we had or wanted to share, what we hoped to learn in ET 10 and some other hobbies or expertise we had. It was a way of sharing our thoughts and skills around the field and it was certainly interesting for me to look through other people's discussions.

         This was not quite my favorite assignment, but I finished it early nonetheless because it was one of my first assignments. As I go on through the course I build confidence which allowed me to spend more time focusing on my work instead of wanting to finish it faster. This was also my first forum which refreshed me on forums, a skill I thought I had, but needed improvement on.

         Now looking back I probably talked about more professional and complicated topics most people would have struggles understanding. I also spread across a bunch of topics onto the table with hopes of covering them but some of those hopes should probably be learned or experienced online. Topics such as video editing, programming, 3d modeling, and computer troubleshooting are all things I can sort of do today thanks to the internet.
