Ethics of Technology [Artifact]

By this point, I am well into the course and there are ideas I have picked up and developed some ideas of what the course is about and I have read and responded to other people as well. We were asked to come up with a technoethical issue so I chose privacy, and you'll see later that I stuck with the privacy topic throughout most of the course.

I would say this is close to being one of my favorite assignments right next to exploring blogs, and if you were to compare my work with this versus my introductory forum, you'll see quite the difference. Being invested in a topic is what makes someone do well at that topic, and because this was one of my favorite assignments the quality and the time dedicated to the work was higher. I learned more about blogging, and instead of waiting or hanging around, I got straight to work and avoided getting distracted, something I would frequently do in other assignments. My approach was much clearer and more straightforward, and the affordances I had to work around kept coming up more and more due to me wanting to perfect it (something I wouldn't do as well with other assignments).

Probably the key reason I chose privacy as a topic so much throughout this course is because of how well I understood the topic and how passionate I was about it. There's something about fighting computer code with computer code that I liked so I chose privacy for most of my topics.
